to be an accurate, up-to-date, city-by-city guide to resources
and places of interest for both residents and travelers.
A listing in Gay-MART's Travel & Resource Guide does not constitute an endorsement by Gay-MART.
The service is operated as a listing service only. No evaluation of claims prior to listing is performed or implied.
Nevertheless, it is Gay-MART's policy to remove or revise listings found to be inaccurate or misleading.
This policy statment describes the steps to take to register a complaint and the response which will be made by Gay-MART.
TO REGISTER A COMPLAINT ABOUT A LISTING:
Prepare a complaint specifying the following information:
Your name (required - we will not consider anonymous complaints)
Your mailing address (required, if an e-mail address is not provided)
Your e-mail address (optional, but it will speed up the process)
The name of the business, as it appears in Gay-MART's Travel & Resource Guide (required)
The city, state, province or territory and country where listing appears (required)
The details of the complaint, including dates and names, if known (required)

UPON RECEIPT OF YOUR COMPLAINT, Gay-MART WILL TAKE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS:
Confirm your identity by e-mailing you at the e-mail address given, or, if no e-mail address is given, by sending a note requesting confirmation to the mailing address specified.
After receiving confirmation, Gay-MART will contact the listing with the details of the complaint and ask for a resolution of the issue.
If a proposal for resolution is received, it will be forwarded to you.
If you accept the proposal, the complaint will be dropped.
If you reject the proposal, the complaint will be published as a link off the contested listing or the listing will be dropped at the discretion of the listing.
If no response is received within 15 days after the complaint is sent, the listing will be dropped.
The listing will be reinstated, with or without an attached complaint (depending on the outcome of negotiations), if a response is received later than 15 days.
